Morning Coffee

Rather than reading a physical copy of the morning paper (my husband snags our copy to take to work), I take my morning coffee (or rather, my Diet Dr. Pepper) to my desktop computer and read the online editions of the paper there. I routinely head for People Magazine (guilty pleasure), followed by the Beaumont Enterprise and the Houston Chronicle, and then on to work sites like OnlineBizU.com. Even though I know the URLs for these sites, I recently found a cool tool that will let me open all of these at once.

Care and Concern from Afar

I wanted to offer a belated thanks to all of you who sent notes and well wishes my way earlier this month after I wrote about my brush with breast cancer. It turns out my medical journey was not quite over. Because my infection wasn't responding to antibiotics, I had to visit a surgeon and have it drained and have a biopsy done for a second cancer check. Good news is that this procedure worked and I'm healing, and no cancer was found.

Hiring someone to help me with my Internet marketing

Q: I was wondering if you would suggest hiring an internet marketer to do everything you are teaching on your membership site. In other words, how could I find someone who will do all the work for me (i.e. college student) while I write my ebooks? Although I have somewhat of an interest in knowing everything that goes on within my business, I would rather hire somebody who has the knowledge and will do everything for me while I take the time to create my product. What are your thoughts? How would I go about finding such a person, i.e. college student, or small business?

Do you know the open rate for your email newsletter? The open rate is the percentage of people who actually open and read your newsletter.
