Today is Veteran's Day here in the U.S., which is a national holiday to acknowledge and honor those who have served in our armed forces. My family has never really been a military family. Occasionally you want to see everything you can about your computer — the amount (or kind) of RAM you have, available disk space, all of your installed programs, type of processor, etc. There are a number of ways to make this info available to you, but I recently discovered a very cool free download tool that takes an instant profile of your PC.

Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and hardware, missing Microsoft hotfixes, anti-virus status, CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks, and displays the results in your Web browser.
